Privacy notice
Version for review: 28 October 2026.
Who is responsible?
Art Driving Manager is currently being prepared as a service operated by Arturas Lastauskas (trading as Art Driving Manager), subject to confirmation before launch. Contact: support@artdrivingmanager.co.uk. Postal contact address: 4 Blossac Court, Northampton, NN5 6EW, United Kingdom.
Which information?
For instructor accounts: email address, account identifiers, authentication activity, preferences, subscription and support enquiries. For the future diary service: lesson schedules, pupil names and contact details, progress notes and payment records entered by instructors. During private testing, users must enter fictional pupil records only.
Why and on what basis?
Account access and provision of the requested service are generally necessary for a contract; preventing abuse and maintaining service reliability may rely on legitimate interests; legal bookkeeping records may be retained to comply with legal obligations. Marketing communications would require a separate assessment and appropriate consent or other lawful permission. The exact processing schedule and lawful bases must be confirmed before launch.
Roles and hosting
For instructor-account and business administration, the operator is expected to act as controller. For real pupil records entered by an instructor, that instructor is generally expected to determine the purpose and act as controller, while the platform processes the records on their instructions under a data processing agreement. This allocation requires legal review. Application hosting uses Vercel and cloud authentication/database services use Supabase. Additional subprocessors and processing regions must be verified.
Disclosure, transfers and retention
Data is disclosed only as necessary to service providers, appropriate support personnel and authorities where legally required. Any transfers outside the UK need to be assessed and safeguarded. Account and diary retention periods, backups, recovery windows and deletion processes must be defined before real pupil records are accepted.
Your rights
Individuals may have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability under UK data protection law, depending on circumstances. Contact support to make a request; you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security and testing
Instructor data is designed to be restricted to its account owner through database row-level security. No system guarantees absolute security. The app is in private beta, and the safeguards are still undergoing verification. Real pupil records must not be uploaded during beta.
